Miba Industrial Bearings, a Miba Group company (Miba), has celebrated its 5th anniversary. Miba’s entry into the industrial bearings sector began with the acquisition of four John Crane Bearing plants

Miba Industrial Bearings, a Miba Group company (Miba), has celebrated its 5th anniversary. Miba’s entry into the industrial bearings sector began with the acquisition of four John Crane Bearing plants in 2018, followed by a joint venture with Zollern Plain Bearings the following year.

“With the integration of Miba Industrial Bearings, we managed to form a strong bearing division for the future,” said Christoph Ederer, Miba Group board member and general manager of Miba Industrial Bearings. “With this, we are perfectly equipped to reach our growth targets for our Miba 100 (sustainability) strategy until 2027 both in our core markets as well as for new applications.”

Miba Industrial Bearings offers hydrodynamic bearings and sealing solutions used in gas compressors, gas turbines, turbochargers, gearboxes, and more.
